Winter Baby Portrait Session at Tuckaseege Park in Mount Holly

It feels like yesterday I just gave birth to my son, Brody. It's hard to believe it's been 10 months already. Being a mom is one of the greatest joys of my life.

I love seeing all the new milestones he's meeting each week. He recently started crawling, saying mama (and occasionally Dada), and eating lots of solid foods...his favorites being cherries, collard greens, cheeri-o's, and bananas. He is obsessed with these 3 little balls that came with one of his dump-truck toys. The orange one made an appearance in this little photoshoot. They are light weight, like a ping-pong ball, and fit perfectly in his little hands. He plays with them all day long. It's his absolute favorite toy by far. It cracks me up so much.

Each season I've documented his growth by taking beautiful natural light portraits of him outside with my professional camera. It's so fun getting him dressed up in a cute outfit, finding a beautiful location, and having fun with photography. I hope someday he will love these photos as much as Matt and I do.
