Matt and I are having a baby! We are so excited to finally share the news with everyone. I'm 19 weeks and feeling super pregnant. I'm 19 weeks in these photos.

We always take our own pictures so it was natural for us to set up a tripod at the local park and document our special news with not only each other but our 11 year old bulldog, Mr. Truck. He is so very special to us and it was extremely important to me to get a photo of all of us together for the ultrasound photo announcement. I had always hoped he would live for this special time in our lives and he has. I'm so grateful.

The pregnancy so far has been really rough. I have been diagnosed with 'HG' aka Hyperemesis Gravadarium, which is the extreme form of morning sickness that just 20% of pregnant women go through. I only gained about 3 lbs. the first trimester so I had to crank up my eating during my second trimester to make up for all the lost calories due to the constant throwing up. Even though it is called 'morning sickness' my mornings are great...it's the evenings when the dreaded nausea and queasiness plague me.

We are due March 6th, 2023 and are looking forward to the rest of the journey ahead. We do know the gender, and have told closest family and friends, but are keeping it a surprise for our social media family. All in all I am doing great and just absolutely thrilled to be a mom!
